2021 Oscars Winners: The Complete List

Best Picture: Nomadland

To tell you the truth, when I first saw this movie I never thought it would win the Academy Awards. Surely it was heart-wrenching and my heart sank in but I was rooting for Sound of Metal to win. But I have made my peace with it and now I am happy to see it win the Best Picture Award. The story was really good.

Chole Zhao – First Asian Woman to win Best Director Award

Anthony Hopkins, you deserved it. You made me see my future, will I be the same as you when I grow old? Will I forget things? Will my children leave me to die alone?

Best Actress: Frances McDormand, “Nomadland”

She will inspire a lot a woman to go down the road.

Frances is also featuring in the much awaited upcoming Wes Anderson film – The French Dispatch. Look out for her.

Tenet disappointed me the most. Maybe I didn’t quite understand the whole theme. Anyway, nobody can crack what goes on inside Nolan’s mind, who am I then.
